The deal will grant Betclic access to the entire Red Rake Gaming portfolio, which includes popular new titles like Knights, Bonnie & Clyde and The Travels of Marco alongside classics such as Super12Stars, which is the firm’s highest-grossing game of 2019 so far.
When pressed for comment on the announcement, Betclic’s Casino Games Specialist Francois Dogon highlighted that the company was “looking forward” to partnering with Red Rake Gaming.
Mr Dogon also added that the partnership will help provide Betclic with a “variety of leading content” that will improve the quality of its current online casino offer.
Industry insiders expect that the partnership will have a positive effect on the growth of both companies. The news comes just days after RRG announced a similar content distribution deal with Novibet.
Red Rake’s deal with Betlic will almost certainly help the firm’s presence in the ever-growing Portuguese gambling market, which it has intended on increasing over the past year.
At the beginning of 2019, Red Rake debuted in Portugal via a partnership with Bet Entertainment Technologies – operators of the Bet.pt website, as part of a coordinated effort to drive an already well-established position in one of Europe’s fastest growing online casino markets.
After a positive response to its titles on the Bet.pt platform, Red Rake is expected to continue to license its products throughout Europe and the wider world, having readily established a foothold in Malta – an important milestone for any burgeoning casino content developer.
Betclic was the first firm to receive a license for the provision of betting services in Portugal back in 2016.
Some commentators have remarked that the partnership with Red Rake has been a long time coming, given the popularity of Red Rake titles in recent years. However, if the popularity of Red Rake titles in Portugal at the moment is anything to go by, the move will prove lucrative for both companies.
