The progressive jackpot network by Microgaming has paid out several millionaires so far in 2019 as part of the almost €90 million that has been paid out total in their progressive jackpots. They are on pace to have a record year with the most progressive wins and most millionaires made by a software company in the online casino industry.

Several Millionaires Made by Microgaming So Far in 2019

Microgaming is a company known for making a lot of people into millionaires. Their set of progressive jackpot online slots are legendary in the industry as a whole, and they regularly get acknowledged for how much they pay out in prizes from these games.

With the first half of 2019 out of the way, Microgaming has announced just under €90 million in payouts via their progressive jackpots in the first six months of the year.

This is a big deal because it shows how serious these prizes are and just how many people are winning life-changing sums of money from playing these games at all levels of stakes. It’s a very inclusive sort of thing, and pointing out the stats on that makes it particularly clear.

Big Winners at All Levels

A few key pieces of information really drive home what has happened so far in what will almost certainly be a record-breaking year for the progressive jackpots offered by Microgaming.

First and foremost, we previously reported that a lucky player at Zodiac Casino took down €13,328,028.16, which is the largest win of the year so far. It’s also the third-highest win ever produced by Microgaming and has only been beaten by wins that either previously or currently hold the world record for the largest online casino win ever.

Here are some other interesting points about what these jackpots have done for players:

  • Eight players have been made into millionaires so far this year.
  • A total of 380 players have won at least €10,000 on a progressive jackpot so far in 2019 with Microgaming-powered titles. This accounted for a little more than €43 million of the total payouts.
  • Overall, €89,879,343 was paid out in progressive wins on their games inside of the first six months of the year.
  • A total of 1,150,559 jackpots have been won, which shows that a majority of the wins come from the frequently hitting low-end jackpots that round out the pay tables in the games they’re a part of.

All of these stats come together to paint a very serious picture of players at all levels of stakes being able to win big thanks to Microgaming progressive jackpot slots.

A Pair of Action-packed Days

During the first half of 2019, Microgaming did something that hasn’t really ever been seen before. On March 5, 2019, they paid out €11,546,388 on the Mega Moolah jackpot. However, the very next day on March 6, they paid out €2,201,120 on the very same progressive.

That’s a very interesting and exciting set of back-to-back wins, and it shows that the jackpots can be won on any day no matter how recent another payout has been for the same top prize.

A pair of big wins came in May as well, but they weren’t back-to-back like the ones in March. A May 3, 2019, win was worth €5.4 million, and a €5.7 million win came just a few weeks later on May 23.

Microgaming Setting Major Progressive Records

The records being set by this company are pretty cool considering they currently hold the world record for the largest win ever paid out in all of online gambling. It came from the top progressive on their flagship Mega Moolah jackpot series, which accounts for a significant portion of the almost €90 million they’ve paid out in progressives so far this year.

While they may not be on pace to break €200 million just yet, anything can happen. If they don’t break that threshold this year, then chances are that they will in 2020 or 2021 with the way things are going for them.
