Evolution Gaming Expands With Flutter Entertainment
If you’re a software or games provider in the online gambling industry, then the name of the game is trying to get your titles in front of as many players as possible. One of the easiest ways to do that is to sign content distribution deals with major brands and operators, and that’s exactly what Evolution Gaming has done once again.
Thanks to a new deal with Flutter Entertainment, Evolution Gaming will be available at some of the biggest brands known in the online casino world as a whole.
There are a lot of major implications for the industry as a whole as the result of this deal, and that goes for the live dealer sector in particular since they are the premier provider of that particular type of game.
Which Brands Are Included in the Deal?
A critical part of this agreement from the perspective of the players is knowing which brands are included in the deal in the first place. Betfair and Paddy Power are two of the biggest owned by Flutter Entertainment, but they also have ownership of some other major brands in the industry as a whole, and that includes names like fantasy sports giant Fanduel as well as TVG, Sportsbet and others.
With a number of properties across a number of sectors in the online gambling world, it’s not completely clear if these live dealer games are only going to be available in Flutter’s online casinos or if they will see wider distribution. On top of that, there’s a merger of sorts happening between Flutter and Stars Group that further complicates the situation.
The bottom line is that a lot of players are going to be able to get in on the action with Evolution Gaming’s selection than was previously the case.
What Evolution Gaming Brings to the Table
For more than a decade, Evolution Gaming has held the number one spot when it comes to the live dealer sector of the online casino industry. They’ve had the best product with the widest reach for a long time.
In the past few years, they have started to see some stiff competition from companies like Net Entertainment, but their market share has not suffered as much as many would think.
The reason that they have been able to keep their stranglehold on the market is that they are constantly innovating. They have different versions of games that others can’t match like their Lightning Roulette and side bet versions of other games, and they also put together licensed titles like Deal or No Deal Live that they have exclusive rights to for live dealer games that their competition really can’t compete with.
Some companies come and go because they rest on their laurels and get complacent, but that is definitely not the case for Evolution Gaming.
What Comes Next
For now, it’s a sure thing that Paddy Power and Betfair will be getting the full selection of live dealer content from Evolution Gaming, and it may or may not be the case for other brands under the Flutter Entertainment umbrella. That’s something that we’ll just have to wait and see on because their has yet to be an official announcement.
What we do know, however, is that the players at those two brands noted above will be very happy to have the best live dealer tables in the game available on top of the already impressive selections of games that they have at their respective sites.
