One of the leading casino businesses in the UK, 888, has teamed up with software maker Microgaming in what is guaranteed to be an exciting gaming partnership. Microgaming is renowned in the industry for creating some of the most memorable progressive casino jackpot games, and so we all wait in anticipation to see what this new partnership leads to.

Roster Expanded At 888

As for 888, this online casino company has a selection of proprietor slots that have been developed in-house. They also have partnerships with a number of other software developers, most notably Evolution Gaming and NetEnt. However, this is the first time that they have partnered up with the other leading iGaming developer, Microgaming.

At the moment, it is the UK market that is going to benefit from this partnership, with 888 planning to roll out Microgaming products across its domestic markets first.

Sweden And Denmark

However, it will then expand into the newly regulated Swedish online casino sector, as well as Denmark. Some of the games that casino lovers will most be looking forward to include the likes of;

  • Jurassic World
  • Games of Thrones (just in time for the final TV series to start!).

You can also expect Microgaming to bring a number of different table games to 888 Casino as well. In terms of progressive jackpots, some of the most famous include Jackpot Deuces, King Cashalot, and Mega Moolah. The latter is one of the largest, having dished out more than $150 million in prizes.

Microgaming Gains

The partnership is not only beneficial for 888, of course. Microgaming have teamed up with a casino that managed to show resilience despite it being a difficult time for online casinos with the continual legal buffering amongst stringent markets.

Despite this, in 2018, 888 managed to bring in a revenue of $317.6 million. The company continues to move forward, finding partners in vibrant markets, such as Colombia and Bulgaria, as well as rolling out its casino and poker platform in the likes of New Jersey and across other states in the Atlantic. Are you excited to see how this partnership develops?
